One of the better parks in Pensacola. Park is on the new side. Roads and sites are all gravel. Sites are long at 50 feet or so and very wide plus close to level. Site had 30/50 amps, water, sewer, cable TV, and table. Large number of pull-thru. No fire rings or fires here, a good thing to me. Only hard sides RV units here, no showers or bathrooms. Wi-Fi is free and works very well on your site. Verizon cell phone worked well. Sat. dish's will work on most sites. We could pick up some road noise off I-10 and Wilde Lake Blvd. but inside it was not a problem. From the traffic light at Wilde Lake drive West 7/8 of a mile and park is on left. The Navel Museum is 18.6 miles from park. You have two large new super markets to shop in and they are close by. Staff was helpful at check in and will take you to your site plus help you hookup if you need it. Not a lot of trees in this park. Nice people live here.

Roads in park are small with asphalt. Lots of nice trees here and some trees are close to road and sites. Sites on the most part are wide 30 ft x 60 ft long. Site we had was a pull-thru, dirt, level, 50 amps, water, sewer, table, and fire ring. Other sites were short, back in, and off level. Staff was nice at check in and helpful. Park has a small pond that you can fish in with a dock. You will pick up road noise off I-95 all the time but inside motorhome it is not a problem. We could pick up eight TV channels over the air. Sat. TV will only work on couple sites at best due to trees. Green grass was nice all over the park. No playground equipment for the kids. You have a great travel plaza for supplies and fuel close to park. Wi-Fi was strong at 1.5GB down load speed, free, and works on all sites. Nightly rate was on Good Sam. Park has four tent sites. Verizon cell phone works well here. Super Wal-Mart about four miles from park on Hwy 40.

Roads are all gravel and in good shape. All sites are very short but you have room in each side. You have two cement strips on most sites to park on. You have 11 sites that have 50 amp power and all others are 30 amps. This is not a big rig campground due to small roads and tight turns. Short RV units will take up the hold site and tows will park in front on in road. Water, sewer, power, cable TV, and table on all sites. Owner was very nice at check in and helpful as well. This park has been in service a long time or back in days of small RV units. Lots of green grass in hold park, nice. Noise: We could hear the train at times (no horn blowing) only wheels rolling on the tracks. Most of the noise here is off Hwy 70 in front of park. Wi-Fi was free, fast, strong, and will work on your site. You do have some trees to park under here. Rates are on Good Sam.

Roads here are new asphalt. Most sites are wide, 30 to 35 feet X 60 feet long with gravel or grass. You can pick type of site you wish at check in if site is open. This park is well taken care of, and you can see it. Our site had a table, 50 amps, water, sewer, and no fire ring. Park will get you one if you need it. Pool is in front of park, no problem as you have a parking lot close by. Park is very large in size and a great place to walk, bike, or walk the dog. Super Wal-Mart about three miles and lots of places to shop close by. We could pick up number of TV channels over the air and Sat dishes are no problem on most sites. Verizon cell phone worked well here. On Wi-Fi, this is the only small problem we found. Park is on DSL with download speeds of 684kbs and 123kbs upload. This size park should have a min. of 3.0 GB of bandwidth. You will find the system stopped if a number of people are on at the same time. Good part it is free.

Nice COE park on J. Percy Priest lake. All roads and sites are new asphalt. Sites we had was level, had 20/30/50 amp power, water, table, BBQ cooking equipment, and fire ring. All sites have lots of space in and around. Trees are very heavy and satellite dishes may be hard to work here. TV over the air did pick up a good number of channels. Verizon cell phone worked well. You have a nice beach on lake front to play in as well as play ground equipment for kids. Number of places to eat and shop near I-40 or 5 miles north of park. Only problem I see here is the roads from I-40 to park can be a little hard to travel on but the signs into park are well marked. Use I-40 exit 221B and go south. Gates are closed at 10:00 pm. Ducks will come to see you if you have a site near the water, lunch time. You will hear some jet noise from airport across the lake but it's not too loud. Staff was nice at check in and helpful as well. Nightly rate was on Golden Age card.

The park sits on side of a hill. All roads are new asphalt. Sites are all gravel and way off level front to rear as well as side to side. Our site had 50 amp power, water, cable TV, table, and sewer. The cable TV had a lot of channels to look at. Satellite dishes will only work on some sites due to the trees. Wi-Fi is free and works well at your site. There are nice old trees here in park. Our Verizon cell phone did work here. The Bathhouses, which are at the office and were clean. There is a good bit of noise from Hwy 45 that runs close to park. They only take cash or check and no Credit Cards. This is a Good Sam park and that is not right per Good Sam rules. There is a Super Wal-Mart about 1/2 mile south of park. The staff was helpful as check in and will take you to your site.

Roads are asphalt and in good shape. Lots of one way roads in park. Our camp site was long at 85 feet X 35 feet wide with table, fire ring, BBQ cooking equipment, gravel, level, water and 30 amp power. No 50 amp power in this park. Water pressure was low at 20 psi. Verizon cell phone worked well here. Sat. dish will work on the ground if you can find a hole in trees. TV channels over the air, did find a small number to look at. Staff was helpful at check in and nice to deal with. This park will have a total rebuild in fall (underway now) to rebuild all sites, add more sites, add 50 amp power to sites, rebuild bathhouses, new playground equipment, and rebuild other items as well. Rates were on Golden Age Card. Gates are locked 24/7 and you need a code to get in. Free Wi-Fi at the Visitor Center 5.8 miles north of park, day time hours only. Items: All sites are not level and some are way off. The dump station sits on side of a slop. To drain water out of tanks you will need to level up. Gate house was moved to a odd place. You will not have a place to stop or park. You need to turn left as you past the gate house. So do not pass it or you will need to back up to make the turn. Bathhouses were very dated. This park is over 30 years old now and it shows.

This is only a update to this park as we have been here a number of times over the past years. The FEMA units have all been removed from park. Park now has free Wi-Fi that works at your site and it works very well. As we all have found out this park has everything you need to live well. I found no problems here with anything. Wish other places were this nice to spend my time in. Great place and so clean.

Spring Lake is a super nice FHU park. Park is off I-40 at exit 322 travel around 4 miles north to Fairview Drive. Roads and sites are all level gravel. Sites are very deep and will fit any size unit also wide. You have sites around a lake and some sites near the office. Sites on lake side have a cement pad, BBQ cooking equipment, fire ring, table, and a swing set for two people to set in. Sites off lake have a nice white table and cement pad. Sites has free cable TV with a ton of channels. Wi-Fi is free, strong, and fast at your site. Hook ups are in correct place and work well. Verizon cell phone works well here. Host will lead you to your site. Host were very nice and helpful. Park is quite, clean, and a peaceful place to be in. Lots of places around park to set and look at the lake. A great place to spend some time in. Nightly rate was on Good Sam.

This is a new and great resort from the ground up. The owners have put a lot of time, thinking, and money into this place. Everything was done right from the walk in pool to the bathhouses. Club house is like a 5 star hotel and has everything you could think of or need to live well. Roads are double wide, sites are long, wide, level, cable TV, with FHU in correct place. Free Wi-Fi and it worked very well at our site. Views of lake are great to look at. You can rent or buy a site here. Front gates: GPS is 30.34831 / -87.65997. From I-10 travel south on Hwy 59 then east to Foley Beach Express, travel south and past Hwy 12 (traffic light), take the next road right, Brinks Willis Road, resort is on the left. You have everything you need from shopping, places to eat, Super Wal-Mart, and others items in Foley five miles away. If you own a Class A you need to check this place out.

Nice large County park on south Brunswick river. All roads are hard packed shell with pot holes. All sites have a table and fire ring. Site was full hookup with 50 amps, water, sewer, cable TV with 90 channels, and free Wi-Fi that worked. Site was 150 feet long and 35 feet wide with trees around the site, level, and pull-thru. Others sites are on the short side. Office will put you in correct size site for your equipment. All sites are the same price $30.00 per night. New rates started July 1, 2009. You can rent by the week or month as well. Great place to fish, lay around, or swim in lake. Boat ramps and boat lift to put boats in water if you need it. Staff was nice at check in. Country Buffet in Brunswick if you enjoy great GA cooking at a low price. Gates are locked at 9:00 pm. The Flying-J is a couple miles south for fuel at exit 29.

Roads in and out of park are good asphalt. Roads in campground are good gravel. Sites are on a 45 deg angle, close to level, wide, long, with hard packed gravel. Sites have a table, fire ring, and BBQ cooking equipment. Park sits close to a 25 acre lake that you can fish in but no swimming due to gators. Staff was nice at check in. If you come into park with a big rig you will have a hard time moving rig back to road if you pull into office. Best to pull over in front of office and check in. Verizon cell phone was to the top. Sat. dishes, no problem on most sites. DTV channels over the air are very limited. Nightly rate was for seniors and you will need a GA park pass. Pool was close and had Green water. Playground equipment for kids at front of park only. Gates are locked at 10:00 pm. You can use the local library for Wi-Fi. Come out the main gate, turn left then turn right at first street. The system was as slow as an old dial up. Also check your power post before you pick a site. I found a lot of dead power post, bad circuit breakers, missing circuit breakers, and tape over the outlet. GA has money problems. A 18 hole golf course was next door if you wish to play and it looked new.

This campground is top rated by me. Roads are asphalt and free of problems. Sites are level, cement, long, and wide. You have a table, fire ring on ground, and BBQ cooking equipment. Lots of room from site to site. Water, power, and (sewer on 19 sites only) was good. Verizon cellphone to the top, DTV will pick up some channels over the air. Due to heavy trees some sites may not work well for Sat. dishes. The shade here is about the best we have ever found. Park sits on Lake Walter F. George and is very large with a power dam. Lots of sites on lake and 18 sites are pull-thru. Bathhouses were clean and have A/C plus a launder room. Great place to fish if you wish to. Eufaula is a little north of park for places to eat and to shop for anything you may need. I understand park will upgrade to 50 amps this year. Staff was great at check in. Gates are locked at 10:00 pm. Playground equipment for the kids and the only sounds you hear were wild bird songs. Large sand beach for swimming. Rates were on Golden Age Card. Free Wi-Fi at Eufaula library.

Park sets on Lake Seminole, large at 37,500 acres but at campground you only see a small part of lake. Roads to park are asphalt and in good shape. Roads in campground are on the small side. Sites are a mix of grave and dirt, off level in most cases, wide, long, and not on top of the next site. Sites have a cement table, fire ring, and BBQ cooking equipment. Rate were for seniors and we had a year park pass. You need a park pass to get in or pay the daily rate. Dump station was set up in a odd way to get out of park. Playground equipment for the kids and it looked new. Staff was nice at check in. You also have 14 large cottages for rent if you need one. Verizon cell phone was to the top here. Sat. dishes work best on the ground due to trees. DTV will pick up number of channels over the air. Large white sand beach on other side of park for swimming. Mini golf, plus number of games to play as well. Gates are locked at 10:00 pm.

This park is great. You have everything to play with in this park. You have two loops. Loop one has lots of trees, three 50 amp sites, (10) sewer sites, sites have cable TV with lots of channels. Loop two has three sewer sites plus (7) 50 amp sites. Roads in loop two are bad. Found sites to be a little off level front to rear but was not a problem (auto level system). Sites have a nice table and fire ring. Free Wi-Fi in lodge and visitors center as well. The 265 acre lake had been drained due to weeds. Will refill lake in spring. You have 10 cottages plus large number of motel rooms to rent if you need them. Super nice golf course to play on. Bathrooms were clean but shower were not clean, also all bathhouses are dated. Long list of things to do here, great place for kids. We had dinner in lodge three times and found food, service, and prices were very good. People from town come out here to eat. Cost less that in town. McRae is 5 miles south of park for anything you may need. Anyone would be happy here. Nightly rate were for seniors. You will need a park pass or pay the daily rate.

Nice GA State Park under large oak and pine trees. This park has the most shade you will find anyplace. New asphalt roads in park make a great place to ride your bikes. Roads are flat and level. Sites are a mix of dirt and some gravel. Sites are close to level, have a table, and fire ring. Cable TV and 50 amps on a total of 22 sites. We could pick up more channels over the air than the cable system. I think cable had two or three channels that we could see. Free Wi-Fi at the office only and you have a table to set at. Sat dishes will not work here. You may find one or two sites that have a hole in trees. Dump station sits in middle of park. You will need to past dump, do a U-turn and come back to get in if you are in front of park. Staff was nice at check in and fast. Playground equipment for the kids. Nightly rate was for seniors. I checked swimming pool, close and green as a swamp. No gators in pool yet. You now have a nice wide turn lane to get into park from Hwy 204 spur. All road work is complete. Gates are locked at 10:00 pm. Verizon cell phone to the top. You will need a GA park pass to get into park.

A nice Core Of Engineer's park on Lake Seminole. The Lake is large at 37,500 acres of water, and 376 miles of shoreline. There are 19 sites on lake, others are near the lake. There are 13 tent sites, some in the shade, but most are in the sun. The roads are asphalt and free of potholes. Sites have a cement pad, and are wide, long, and level. Water and 50 amp power was good. The park has a number of pine trees over the tent sites and may help keep down the heat. If you like to fish this place is great. The price was on Golden Age Card. Chattahoochee is about 1.5 miles south and you will not find much of anything in town. We were warning about the black ants problem here. We had to put Comet around the wheels to keep ants out of motorhome. Our Verizon cell phone worked well here. The Digital TV picked up number of channels over the air. Satellite dishes work well on most sites. Sites were equipped with a table, fire ring, and BBQ cooking equipment on a stand. Like all COE parks everything looks nice. Bathrooms and showers will be a problem to everyone, due to their location on B loop at east side of park. This is a 1/4 mile walk from loop A and C. The bathroom and showers were clean but very dated. A new bathhouse is close to completed about 1/8 of a mile walk from loop A and C. Loop B is an asphalt parking lot with water and 30 amp power at sidewalk. There is no Wi-Fi at Chattahoochee library or anyplace in town. Gates are locked at 10:00 pm. There are a couple of places to eat in town which is somewhat limiting.

Good size state park on an island in the Okefenokee swamp. Park is 17 miles from Hwy 441 in Fargo. As others have said pack up everything you will need before you come here. You will pass campground on right side as you drive to office. You will need to do a U-turn and go back to campground. Part of the sites can be a trick to drive to. The 50 amp sites have more room. The other loop is a trick due to trees close to road. Road snakes around the loop and sites can be tough to back into. OK for smaller units. Sites are close to level, have grass, hard to get and out of, water, power, table, and fire ring. Dump station is on wrong side of road so you will need to do a U-turn to get in. Some playground equipment for kids. Rate was on Golden Age Card (this is a Nat. Park as well). Great place to fish and see all the wild life. Boat tour was great as was walking trails. You can rent boats here as well. This swamp is super size and full of alligators. Staff was nice at check in. Interpretive center/museum near office. Verizon cell phone did work, but was weak. DTV will pick up a small number of channels. Sat. systems will work only at some sites. Cable TV in park was useless, very small number of channels all poor, plus very dark. Gates are locked at 10:00 pm.

Very nice COE park on Lake Walter F. George. All roads are asphalt and free of potholes. Sites are cement pads, level, long, and wide. Site had a wood table, fire ring, and BBQ cooking equipment. Most sites have lots of room around, grass, nice trees to sit under. Verizon cell phone was to the top. DTV will pick up a number of channels. Sat. dish on the ground works best here due to heavy trees. Bathhouses were like new, clean, and have A/C system. Water and 30 amps were all good. Staff was nice at check in. Good place to fish. Lots of people using boats to play on lake. Gates are locked at 10:00 pm. Playground equipment for kids. Eufaukla library for free Wi-Fi. Eufaukla is around seven miles north for everything you may need plus places to eat. A new Wal-Mart super center will be open soon on hwy. to park. Only seven pull-thru sites that are good for short units only. Noise free at night. Rates were on Golden Age Card. I understand this park will upgrade to 50 amps this year. You have four dump stations, one at west side, two in middle, and one in rear of park. Best setup we have every found in any park to dump. A great place to visit.

Supper size County park on Tampa Bay. Roads are good asphalt. Sites are all gravel & sand mixed and have a table, fire ring, 30 amps with water. Most are close to level but pick your site with care as numbers are very short and only good for tents or popups. Lots of room from side to side with large trees on small number of sites. Fishing from your site or you can go over to the super size fishing lot and use the two boat ramps. Park has new shower/bathrooms, screen room for large groups, two fishing docks in RV side, and playground for the kids. Gates are locked from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am. Picnic tables all over the park with parking space. Dump station was set up in correct way. No noise or overhead lights here. DTV will pick up numbers of channels over the air. Verizon cell phone was to the top. Lots of places outside park to shop or eat out.

This park has three loops. All have 50 amps, water, table, fire rings, BBQ cooking equipment, and a little off level but not bad. Park sits on land that is center of Lake Dixie and Lake Hammond. Lake Louisa is very large and close by to swim in plus has picnic grounds. DTV works well here and Verizon cell phones were to the top. Dump station was great as you can dump on way in or out, very nice and wide. You will find 14 sites have full hookups and a number of the sites are for the physically challenged. No play ground equipment for the kids. Park also has 20 large cabins to rent that over look Lake Dixie. Price was half off, people who live in state receive a discount.

Parks has two loops. The larger loop is for RV people with out horses and smaller one with or with out horses. Sites have lots of room, deep, 50 amps, water, fire ring, BBQ cooking equipment, table, and are close to level. Roads are asphalt and like new. Gates are locked at night. Verizon cell phone was to the top. DTV will pick up lots of channels over the air. Park has small 5 acre lake to fish in, four mountain bike trails that are tough. Large picnic grounds near RV sites with everything plus playground for kids. Lot of money was put into this park and it shows. Price was half off, people who live in state receive a discount.

This is a class A only resort. Site we had was a pull in back out with W,S,cable, and 100 amp power post. The power post had two 50 amp outlets and one 20 amp outlet. Site was long, wide, level, clean, and faced the 14th hole. Park has three pools, large club house, spas, two lighted tennis courts, 14 hole golf course, and beautiful plants and trees everyplace you go. Park will soon grow to 502 sites. Golf course will grow out to 18 holes at that time. Wi-Fi has been removed from service due to problems but new system should be in place by end of summer 2009. Nice public library close by with free Wi-Fi. Cable TV had around 70 channels and DTV over the air would pick up 20 channels all poor. Verizon cell phone signal level was to the top on meter. All items work well here, no problems with anything. Staff was great and help me find ever item I ask about. Trash was picked up each day at site. The only item missing was maid service to clean up motorhome, life is good here. If you like golf the PGA training center is close by plus all the other courses. Lots of places to eat out close by plus shopping centers. This is about as good as it gets in RV life.

Nice small County campground on Shiner Lake. Roads and sites are all blacktop and look new. Park has a mix of 30 and 50 amp sites. The 50 amp sites are larger and have lots of room. All sites have lots of room from site to side. Sites are dead level, have W,E,S hookups in correct place and everything worked well. Cable TV had about 75 channels, DTV over the air would pick up 30 channels, most were good. Sites have a table, BBQ cooking equipment and most have a tree. Lots of play ground equipment for the kids and older people as well. Verizon cell phone service works well here. Park sits on south side of Lake Okeechobee. County may install a Wi-Fi system soon. The public library has Wi-Fi but is a waste of time, slower that a poor dial up system. Stock up before you come here, no town here to buy anything or places to eat out. One small truck stop close by that may have a place to eat. Office is open from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, gates are locked at 6:00 pm. Office staff was the best we have every found, do anything to help you. Only problem I found was road noise off Hwy 27/80, it never stops day or night. Sites in back have very little noise, ones in front a lot. This place is a winner and we will return anytime.

This park is on Rio Grande river, not at the store 1/4 mile to the west. You park under cotton wood trees. Park has two zones, one zone you can run generators about 60 sites and the other you can not run generators about 40 sites. Sites have a table, steel box to lock up food, and a fire ring. Number of sites are open and sat. TV would work, others under trees would be hard use sat TV. You can walk down to river in couple mins. Sites were level and wide with lots of space around each site. You can find water taps around park to full your tank. Park store 1/4 mile west has a lot of items and showers as well. Best to pack in your supplies before you come here.

Road in to park are very small, winding, and have low trees over the road in some places. Most trees we have every found in a state park. At times sites are dark. Deer walk around in mid day on roads. Sites are on the small side from other S/P in FL. A 40 foot motorhome will fit with little room for tow. Sites are gravel/shell mix and could use more gravel or shell. We had 50 amp with water, table, and fire ring. I could not find more sites that had 50 amps. DTV will pick up small number of channels over the air. Sat. TV will be hard to do but couple of sites did have a little less tree cover. Hard to see other sites due to heavy tree and ground cover from site to site. You have a visitor center and lots of trails to walk on. Lake Wauberg for fishing and boats with no gas engines. Playground equipment for kids near campground. 21 sites for RV units and 27 sites for tents. In mid Sep. on weekend, park only had a very small number of people. Visit small town of Micanopy close by (Historic). About 10 miles to Gainesville for food and supply's. Very small store close by may have some items you need. Gates are locked at night and no lights in park, very dark. Eight dollar rate was off due to age 65 and we live in FL.

Table, fire rings, BBQ equipment to cook on. DTV and analog TV very poor over the air. Museum was very good and low cost. Lots of trails to walk on. Cabins near RV parking if you need them. Playground equipment for kids. Dump station was very good. Bathhouse was spotless also had washers and dryers. Silver river close to camp sites. Super Wal-Mart and places to eat 3.5 miles from campground. AC power 50 amps and water were good and in correct place. We will return.

This is a outstanding top rated FL state park. Looks like a small town park with RV parking. All roads are asphalt. Sites are super size with gravel. One we had was 30' wide X 200' long with 50 amps, water, table and fire ring. Lots of room from site to site with trees. Park sets on Suwannee River and is beautiful. One could live here all the time and never move. In all our years of RV life this tops them all for state parks. Bathrooms are new and state of art. Park people work all the time to keep up everything. Stephen Foster museum, carillon bell tower with music at 10-2-4 on the hour with Stephens songs, he wrote 200 songs. You have Nelly Bty's kitchen, cabins, and trails to walk on. Park has tons of oak trees. DTV will pick up channel 5 at times. Verizon cell phone works here. Dump station was great and layout was correct. Staff was nice at check in plus everyone we talked to in park. Gates are locked at 10:00 pm. Playground equipment in park but not in RV side. We will return anytime we move up and down I-75. Rates are for age 65 and we live in FL.

Large GA state park with good size lake close by, no sites are on the lake. All roads are asphalt, sites are on two loops. South loop has all 30 amps with water. Sites on North loop has about 5 sites with 50 amps and others are 30 amps and water. Sites are gravel, wide, long, with table and fire ring. Bathhouses are in center of loops. Bathhouse were clean but dated and could use some work. Lots of very large live oak trees to park under. Dump station was on way out of two loops. Lots of playground equipment for kids. Walking trail was 5 miles long. Town of Adel was 6 miles east on I-75. Great place to eat catfish outside park, east side. Park had two pioneer campgrounds and miniature golf. Large beach on other side on lake from RV park for swimming. Three boat ramps. No gas engine boats on lake. Laundry house on South loop. Cable TV with 11 channels. DTV was good on number of channels over the air. Verizon cell phone service was very poor, can you hear me now? Number of bad and high speed bumps to help re-set everything inside our motorhome, pain in the neck. Gates are locked at 10:00 PM. All staff members were nice and helpful. We would return for one night and to eat some catfish. Only open Thu, Fri. and Sat, nights.

This is a very large S/P on Lake Clarks Hill. All roads are asphalt, sites are packed gravel, some level and some close to level, power, water, and 8 sites have 50 amps, others 30 amps. All sites have a table and fire ring to cook on. Some sites will be very hard for a big rig to get in and out of due to poor site layout. We had to work at it to turn around. Smaller units will be OK. Most all sites have a great view of lake. Lake water level was way down due to no rain. We could see the lake from each window in motorhome. Playground equipment all over the place for kids. DTV worked very well here with number of channels. Verizon cell phone was to the top on bars. Dump station could take two units at the time. Gates locked at night. No noise anytime. Bathhouses were clean but very dated, need to be replaced. Also a long walk from most sites to use them. Park was close to empty first of Sep. We would come back again.

Playground equipment for the kids, picnic tables, boat ramps. PC in office to use if you need it to check e-mail. We will return.

Very large S/P on lake Blackshear. Roads are good asphalt, sites are packed gravel, most are level, table, fire rings, good number are on the lakeside, and have 30/50 amps, most have lots of large trees to park under. Cable TV was poor with 11 channels, DTV was good for 3 channels, sat. TV with work if your dish is on the ground or you can find an open site. New dump station that can take three unit at the time. Very large beach for swimming. Hotel Blackshear in park as well. Playground equipment for the kids. Gate was locked 24/7. If you like to fish, 20 feet from your door to lake. Wal-Mart and lots of place to eat and shop in Cordele. Very nice golf course in park. Sam Short Line (train) runs from park over to Plans, GA. Lots of fun for everyone here. We will return.

All roads are asphalt, sites are hard packed gravel, and level. Table on site, no fire ring or open fire here. Wi-Fi worked well. Trees are small but have some shade. Park was full at time of our visit. I also agree that park is better now with clean up work in rear on permanent sites. Everything is close by, food, stores, places to eat, fuel, and shopping. Pond in park with ducks. No road noise. No play ground equipment for kids. Next door to large flea market Fri. Sat. and Sun only. Hookup's are in the correct place. We will return.

Roads are good gravel, sites are cement, very level, super wide, long, and tons of trees everyplace. All sites have table, water, 30/50 amps, sewer, cable TV with 75 channels, no open fires here. Shade was great. No playground equipment for kids. Road noise from Hwy in front of park. Park has a duck pond with ducks that is nice to look at. Bathrooms (2) are unisex at office and long walk from any site. Park has about 60% permanents but all sites are neat and clean. Equipment to work out with in office. DTV was poor at 3 channels. Verizon cell phone was great. Wi-Fi was down but owner replaced the router and that fix the problem also free with strong sig. We will return.

Like most COE parks this one is beautiful. Roads are asphalt and sites are hard packed gravel, level, wide, have 30/50 amps, water, fire rings, BBQ equipment for cooking, tons of trees, and well keep. On lake Harwell. Lake level is way down due to no rain in long time now. Very quit. Lots of playground for kids. Staff was very nice at check in. Bathhouse look new and were spotless as well. Gate was locked at night. Dump station was super size and you can dump on way in or out with no problems. DTV will pick up number of good channels. Verizon cell phone worked well here. Price was on Golden Age Pass. We will return anytime.

LED lights on hookup post and corner post. All in all a very nice park to visit. Staff was great at check in. Mount Airy is home of Andy Griffith, Snappy Lunch, and Floyd's Barber shop. First off park is hard to find. From from Hwy 378 & Hwy 221 in McCormick go 3 miles west on Hwy 378. Look for the Brown sign and turn south or left on to Chamberlains Ferry Road. Park is 4 miles on end of this road. Park is in a beautiful place on Strom Thurmond lake. Roads are asphalt, sites are hard gravel and a little off level. Most all sites set on the lake. Sites have ring rings, table, water, BBQ cooking equipment, most sites have 30/50 amps. 24 sites have 30 amps only. Dump station was in an odd place and on wrong side of the road. Boat launch inside the park. Loop in center has a very short turn. If you have a tow car you can not turn the loop. Some sites will be hard on big rigs to get in and out of, pick one with care. DTV was good and you have a number of channels. Verizon cell phone works very well. Price was on Golden Age card. Park hosts were very nice at check in. Place was close to empty first part of September. Park was noise free. Lake was very low on water due to low rains. We would return.

Park host is the same, an un-happy person. Park is not bad, asphalt roads with speed bumps. Sites are a mixed bag with some gravel and some no gravel, some close to level and some way off level. Sites are close side to side. Number of pine trees to park under. Modem line is a pain to use at bathhouse, no place to sit. Camp fires are OK here. Rates were on Passport for one night only, also will take Good Sams. Check before you come here. Per our nice host park will close down very soon, same story two years ago.

Very nice campground resort to visit. Host at check in was very helpful. All sites are on cement pad and dead level. Roads are asphalt. Good space on most sites from side to side. Park now has free WiFi, good in club house only, ask for the password at office. Water and power were good and all sites have 30 & 50 amps. No camp fires here. Large play ground equipment for the kids. Next door to Barefoot Landing, you can walk over in short time. Rates were on Passport. Park was very close to full, about 60% were large class A's, then large 5th wheel units, rest were smaller units. People in park were nice to talk with. Large club house and pool were great, down by the inlet waters. Sites next to Hwy 17 will have some road noise and sites in back of park are very quite. We will return here on future trips.

Beautiful COE park with all asphalt roads, cement level pads to park on. Park is on Walter F. George lake with most sites on or very close to lake. You have 20 sites with sewer on "Shady Loop". No road noise in this park. Very dark at night. Good power and water. Lots of space from site to site. Camp fires are OK here. Park is very heavy with shade trees. Rest rooms, showers, and laundry were spotless. Lot of people fish in this lake. Two dumps stations near front of park. Trash dumpers "3" also near front of park, long walk from most sites. Golden age cards price was $11 per night for FHU site. Eufaula is 22 miles to center of town, check out old antebellum homes, lots to look at around town. Park gates are locked at 10:00pm. You will find open sites and sites under the large trees in park. Most sites are under trees. Owner is always working to update his park, very nice. WiFi now in place, free, sig. is weak, will only work close to office. Camp fires are OK here. We have been here number of times and will return in future.

Very nice park, full of trees to park under. Roads and sites are all gravel with super size cement pads to park on. Car and motorhome would fit side by side here. Long pull-thru also. Water and power were good. Rest rooms, showers were spotless and only in rear of office, long walk from most sites. Some road noise from Hwy 19. WiFi sig. on laptop was very good but would not go on line. I went to office and same problem. Three days in park and no luck, but WiFi was free. If you come from north on Hwy 19 you will pass park on left, need to do a "U" turn at next cross over to get in. No campground fires here. Lots of TV channels (60) plus to look at. Good Sam discount. Older campground that could use a lot more work yet. Most sites are on side of a hill, all sites are rock and gravel. Part of the roads were asphalt ,and rest were rock and gravel, and need more work. Sites were close to level and sit in heavy stand of pine trees. WiFi was free but only works close to office (small linksys). Sat TV is a trick here due to the trees, but will work in places. Rest rooms, showers, and laundry were spotless and all new, also a long way from most sites. Rates were on Passport; park also is Good Sams. This park is OK for the smaller units, large units should not come here. We are 36 feet and could get in and out of site. Trees are everyplace and you could hit one. New owner is working to update this park and you can see changes. Lots of people come here to be in the woods and fish. Power and water were OK. Camp fires OK here. No noise here. Lake is down around 20 feet at this time due to no rain. It was not a bad place to spent some time in.

Complimentary breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00 am was good. Bathrooms and showers were spotless. Some road noise from I-40 but was not a problem. No camp fires here. Staff was nice at check in and we received no static from anyone. We think this park is the best one in Albuquerque and we will return in future. Cable TV would be nice on all sites, only small number have it now. Other parks close by cost less but you receive less in turn. Flying-J two miles from here for fuel and super Wal-Mart around four miles for your needs.

This is a old KOA campground and needs lots of work. Roads and sites are gravel. Sites are mostly side by side with with no room on each side, plus very short. To me good for small units only. Now out of Passport system but in Good Sam. I think place is good for over nigh stops only. Park has trees but little shade. Staff was nice at check in. Free WiFi but system is poor and very slow due to low quality signal levels. Over priced for what you get.

This rating is on the 100 sites at the Rio Grande Village Campground, not the 25 sites at the Rio Grande Village RV Park. This park is not a bad place to spent some time. Roads are blacktop with gravel sites. Lots of cottonwood trees to park under. About 60% of park is for non-generator use. You pick any open site you like and go to post and pay. The $7 rate was on Golden Age. Pay showers at store. Water in park plus dump station. No cell phone, radio, or TV stations here. XM and Sat. TV worked well. Mexico and Rio Grande river 285 feet away per GPS. On the 25 full hookup sites, very small parking lot, this would hard to move a large unit in place. This park has a large number of items, drag strip, race track, amusement park, splash lagoon, and other items. Road from 31W to RV park is very small and 2-1/2 miles long. You will pass a Camping World on way to park. All roads and sites are blacktop with some pot holes. Sites were level in most cases. You have some trees to park under. Site hookup's are odd at best. Use care at time you pick a site due to hookup's. The gate house is a trick to pass thru due to a small opening, look at the damage from other RV people. Free WiFi will work if you are close to laundry room. In laundry room you have a phone line open 24/7 and a high speed cable to hook up your laptop. Bathrooms were some what clean but need a lot of repair work. Couple sites are on Barren River but sites were not very good. AC power was not a problem in April. The AC power boxes need to be updated due to old age. Water pressure was very low and it was hard to take a shower at times. Heat would be a problem here in summer months due to all the blacktop in park. Best part was the loud noise off the drag strip on Friday night and race track on Saturday night with the loud PA system. Week days were noise free. I do not think we will return to this park in future.

Lake is large at 45,000 acres, equipment for kids to play on, min-golf, large pool, tennis, lots of trees, boat marina, fishing, boat ramp, and park was clean. Staff was nice at check in. Very nice place to spend some time. No noise in park. Park has great cabins to rent if you need them. Rating would be a 9 if pot holes were fixed.
